Undergraduate Courses

Students in the Centre have the following course options to study classics & archaeology as undergraduate study.

• Bachelor of Arts with major in Classics and Archaeology
• Bachelor of Arts with pure Honours in Classics and Archaeology
• Bachelor of Arts with combined Honours in Classics and Archaeology
• Bachelor of Arts with Pure Honours in Classical Studies
• Diploma in Arts (Classical Studies)
• Diploma in Arts (Ancient Languages)
  (Available to students who are currently enrolled in a degree course at the University of Melbourne. It consists of a three-year sequence of study, and adds one year to the duration of your degree.)

Postgraduate & Graduate Certificates & Diplomas

Students can undertake postgraduate coursework study in classics & archaeology such as graduate certificates and diplomas, and postgraduate certificates and diplomas.

Higher Research Degrees (HRD)

Art History can also be undertaken as a research thesis in both the Master of Arts and PhD. The Student Handbook provides information on Masters of Arts in Classics and Archaeology (Thesis Only). The Faculty of Arts provides information on the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
