Multimedia ProjectsThe Centre has been involved in the following multimedia projects that showcase innovative uses of multimedia technologies for teaching, scholarship, research, and learning. Winged SandalsType of Project: Interactive WebsiteInteractive games, animations, and educational material offer a compelling opportunity to learn and engage with Greek myth and classical culture. Winged Sandals was awarded the Gold World Medal in the Education category of the prestigious New York Festivals 2004 Interactive Awards. In 2004, Winged Sandals was also awarded the top Australian new media accolade of the Best of the Best at the AIMIA Awards, the AIMIA award for Best e-learning or Reference and prizes at the SXSWeb Media Festival and the FAlsh Forward Festival Awards.
